Connecting Advertiser Social Media streams within your F2F Admin Site
Some streams can be shown as "waiting," let's fix that.
When you add a Facebook Business Page to your Friends2Follow admin site, our system will begin pushing 1 post per day from that Facebook Business Page. This way, they have posts “live” within your Friends2Follow content blocks and banner ad spaces on your publications.
That said, Facebook and Instagram (Meta) now have a Connection Process:
- Instagram connection is required before we can push any posts
- Facebook 1 post/ day until connected to their Business Facebook Page
- For both, once your advertiser provides that connection, we push ALL posts
We email the provided advertiser address at regular intervals until they are connected.
The email is branded with your information and invites anyone within the organization with access to their social media page to connect.
We also explain why the connection is requested and link a quick video that shows the process.
If your advertiser has seen the video and are still having issues, you can send them this link to set a time for a 5 minute call with one of our connection specialists.
If your advertiser never completes the connection process, we will continue to push 1 Facebook post per day while they are live in your Friends2Follow Admin Site.
With Instagram, we cannot push any posts until the advertiser has provided the connection.
Advertisers will be listed with a “Waiting…” status in your Friends2Follow Admin Site until they have “Connected” their Meta Page.
